This weekend was surreal, I don't really know where to begin! If someone would have told me a year ago that I would be attending Spring 2011 shows in New York I would never believe them. Its insane how much life changes in a year! I left for New York Thursday night so I would be make it to Fashion Night Out. FNO was insane, there were crowds everywhere which made it was really hard to see the events that were going on. The next day me and Katherine had tickets to attend Cynthia Rowley at Lincoln Center, which was UNREAL. We walked into Lincoln center right behind Tim Gunn, where he was giving interviews in the lobby. The lobby at Lincoln Center was out of control, they had free everything (Starbucks, Fiji water, magazines, wine, hair products, and a blogging station) and photo flashes were going off everywhere. The Cynthia Rowley show was so great, the looks were very classic and tailored. Many of the clothes had circle laser cut details. The energy inside of that building is insane, I loved every minute of it. The next day me and Katherine headed back to Lincoln Center to watch the DVF show. The show was AMAZING, with a new co-designer at DVF the show had a very fresh feel. I still can not really believe i was there, and hope I will be able to attend more shows next season.
